Summary
Repetitorium on constructive geometry is intended for students who need to shed more light on the subject matter of Geometry. Its content basically coincides with the outline of the subject Constructive geometry, which is taught in the previous semester. At least basic knowledge of imaging methods is assumed. Emphasis is placed on the construction of simple bodies in Monge's projection and in rectangular axonometry, as well as constructions and equations of curves (conic segments, cyclic curves, helices) and constructions and equations of surfaces (translational, rotational, helical and straight lines). In the individual exercises, examples will be solved, analogous to tasks that are included in the written part of the Constructive Geometry exam.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

• foster the development of spatial imagination
• master different types of imaging methods, understand their principles, know their properties, advantages and disadvantages
• practice
geometric properties of curves and surfaces used in technical practice
Course Contents
1. Monge's projection - construction of solids
2. Orthogonal axonometry - construction of solids
3. Curves - conic sections, cyclic curves
4. Curves - helixes
5. Translation and rectilinear surfaces
6. Rotary and screw surfaces
