Summary
The aim of the course is to pass on to the listener basic knowledge in the field of quality management, concept of quality systems, sectoral standards and apply these to examples of typical tasks solved in transport practice. The theoretical part of the course will ensure an understanding of key processes in quality systems, European Union approaches to quality assurance, conformity assessment, economic aspects of quality management and auditing in quality management systems. The practical part will provide the knowledge necessary for solving quality management tasks in the automotive industry and measuring the quality of services in public passenger transport.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

The theoretical part of the course will ensure an understanding of key processes in quality systems, European Union approaches to quality assurance, conformity assessment, economic aspects of quality management and auditing in quality management systems. The practical part will provide the knowledge necessary for solving quality management tasks in the automotive industry and measuring the quality of services in public passenger transport.

7. Basic tools and methods for data analysis and quality control.
8. Principles of the European Union's approach to quality assurance and conformity assessment.
9. Auditing in quality management systems.
10. Quality links of transport systems.
11. Quality management for the automotive industry.
12. Quality in transport.
13. Criteria for quality evaluation.
14. Methods of multicriteria quality evaluation.
