Summary
This subject is among specialized deepening subjects. The subject builds on knowledge acquired from the subjects of parts of machines, forming, machining, welding and materials science and basics of designing. The scope of activity of a technologist-designer is explained and the activity is practised. Training is aimed so as to make the maximum use of computer techniques.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of this teaching subject is to deepen the knowledge of the technological procedure and of workplace layout development methods, analysis of work and determination of work time standards, use of standardization methods and capacity calculations. Furthermore, the students will gain knowledge of the requirements for the design of specific technological workplaces.
