Summary
The theory includes an analysis of cutting mechanism study the formation of chips
dynamic cutting process and the associated stability assessment of cutting
process. This subject includes the bases of integreated machining, too.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Students will be familiarized with the theory of machining.
This subject includes an analysis study of chip forming, of power ratios, of
cutting process stability, of thermal effects, of the wear edge of tools, of
durability, tool life of materials, and of the optimisation of cutting
process.
