Summary
The role and significance of Computing. Methodology of research and development work.
Information sources (magazines, books, textbooks, electronic media, Internet). Methodology of technical reports. Marking of measurement and control circuit according to ISO 1918 060th Citations of publications by the ISO and IEC standards.
Fundamentals of multimedia presentations with professional issues.
Software support processing of technical reports and public presentations.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim is to improve students' ability of individual presentation of results by PowerPoint presentation and written report. Students in the course address their individually assigned projects.
Course Contents
1. Understanding the challenges and the course content, laboratory regulations, safety regulations, the course credit system, project processing deadlines SP I. The role and importance of semester projects.
2. Methodology of research and development work. Information sources (magazines, books, textbooks, electronic media, internet). Preparing to enter the SP I and diploma thesis in cooperation with the head of DP.
3. Methodology of technical reports. Marking of measuring and control circuits according to DIN 1918 060th Citations of publications by the ISO and IEC standards. Search for sources of information (research, electronic media, the Internet, the patent literature).
4. Preparation (check) processing of SP I enter and dissertations. Recommended marking variables, and abbreviations in automation and informatics. Quote internet sources according to ISO and IEC standards.
5. Preparation and semester project and consultation - the first individual presentation component of SP I.
6. Individual solutions according to specifications given topic of the thesis and award of SP I.
