Visiting selected businesses, operations or municipal buildings with a focus on energy and the environment.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Visits to selected companies focused on energy and environment according to the financial possibilities of the department.
Course Contents
Teachers choose to visit the appropriate industrial enterprises usually thematically.
Most often these are the following companies:
- Heating, power
- Nuclear power plants,
- Incineration of municipal waste
- Pumped storage and hydroelectric power plants,
- Research institutes and workplaces of other universities
Last but not least is part of the excursion interview with the personnel department, where students can gather information about employment opportunities and to assess the possibilities of their application in practice.
