The course introduces students to the basic principles and terminology in the field of electricity generation, mining and related technologies. During the exercise, they will visit individual industrial monuments in the region and during the exercise they will also get acquainted with the methodology for revitalizing brownfields.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
To acquaint students with the technical basics in terms of electricity generation, surface and deep mining and other related technologies (processing minerals, engineering, etc.), incl. their impact on the environment. The course should provide students with the foundations for their further study.
