Summary
Students spend several days of field training with the practical use of theoretical knowledge acquired so far. They are confronted with the practice and method of use, implementation of legislative regulations, etc.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the subject is to familiarize students with the impacts of environmental pollution by anthropogenic substances and negative actions arising from industrial and mining activities on the surrounding landscape. Students will also review a summary of practical demonstrations in the field, which can be assessed from previously acquired knowledge and knowledge from other subjects, which studied mainly from the theoretical.
Course Contents
Ranged field exercises, where students recognize the possibility of applying theoretical knowledge when confronted with the practice. Visit the technology for waste disposal, monitor changes in landscapes due to off-road man, the effects of contaminants in the ecosystem, etc.
Field training schedule is planned according to availability of suitable sites and visits to premises.
