Summary
The subject represents construction principles of geodetic instruments, their
adjustment and physical rules of their function.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Physical principles of construction and use of modern surveying instruments.
Course Contents
Lectures:
1st An optical system in relation to the eye, eye structure, optical system of the eye, the eye resolution limit, noniová resolution, iridiace.
2nd Binoculars - Kepler, Galileo, magnification, field of vision, pupil, brightness, resolution.
3rd Construction elements binoculars, lenses, eyepieces, overturning the system.
4th Binoculars with internal focusing, analytic point addition and multiplication constant parallax.
5th Construction of the reading and types of optical microscopes - Mechanical theodelite.
6th Semiconductors, logic circuits, counters.
7th Physical principles of electronic theodelite.
8th Code circles, most codes used in theodelite.
9th Optoelectronic pulse systems, the method of moiré, and electric induction Time-measuring method.
10th Coded fine reading electronic interpolation, phase micrometers, use the bending phenomena, sinus slot.
11th Levelling instruments - division, building elements, principles of operation and construction expansion joints, expansion joints and types of errors.
12th Lengths are measured by electronic distance meter - the principle of measurement.
13th Spreading and modulation of electromagnetic. waves, methods of measurement.
14th Corrections to the measured length range finders, determining the additive constants.

Exercise:
1st Laboratory determination of parameters of the telescope.
2nd Calibration range finders to délkoměrné base.
3rd Rectification Libel theodolites and leveling devices.
4th Calibration of the theodolite.
5th Leveling instrument calibration.
6th Determining the scope compensator leveling instruments.
7th Comparison of coded laser interferometer measuring rods.
8th Comparison of surveying a steel band.
