Summary
The subject of Photogrammetry goes into reconstruction of size and position of
spatial object from photographic images. Next there is basic informations
about modern digital photogrammetry methods and principles.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The aim of the course is to apply knowledge gained from the subject of photogrammetry to the specific semester projects in the field of digital photogrammetry.
Course Contents
Lectures:

1. Guidelines for developing object semester. Selection of a suitable building.
2. The elements of internal and external orientation.
3. Coordinate systems in terrestrial photogrammetry.
4. Calibration of digital cameras. Calibration techniques, field testing, simultaneous calibration.
5. Principles for the acquisition and calibration of survey images.
6. Signaling and stabilization of control points.
7. Convergent and parallel imaging.
8. Creation of 3D model.
9. Creation of the DSM area - point clouds.
10. Connect model to scale and coordinates. Visualization and animation.
11. Quality control model.
12. Evaluation of the accuracy of photogrammetric measurements.


Exercise:

1. Selection of a suitable building. Reconnaissance field.
2. Stabilization and signaling control points and geodetic measurements.
3. Calibration of digital cameras.
4. Surveying imaging.
5. Creation of 3D model.
6. Connect model to scale and coordinates.
7. Connecting textures.
8. Quality control model.
9. Visualization and animation. Export to Google Earth, VRML and movies.
10. Evaluation of the accuracy of photogrammetric measurements on the spatial test field.
