| Learning outcomes of the course unit the students will acquaint with the basics of the industrial business economy. The lectures are characterized by the enterprise in the raw material industry, its objectives and functions, the main activities and their management. At exercises the students acquire practical skills in solving case studies and calculation of examples from the environment of mining enterprises. |

| Define the core business of the mining company and its management. Clarify the relationship between the structure of assets and capital and between the revenues, costs and economic performance of the enterprise. Compile the balance sheet and other statements of the mining company. Choose and use appropriate data and mathematical equipment for business analysis. Evaluate the financial situation of the mining company. |
