Summary
Further to the other special mining subjects, the students will gain more
knowledge of the opencast mining of deposits. The focus of the subject lies in
the knowledge of technological processes of mining, transporting and dumping in
coal and non-coal open pits and on quarries of building raw materials
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The goal of the subject is detailed familiarization students with mining, transport plus adjustment coaly raw material on opencast mining company. Part of education are rule for labour protection plus safety in service plus legislature given to areas.
Course Contents
Syllabus of lectures:

1st Technology shovel mining excavators.
2nd Technology mining excavator buckets towed.
3rd Technology wheel mining excavators in the block.
4th Technology wheel mining excavators to cut.
5th Technology bucket mining excavators.
6th Technology lateral movement of the overlying material.
7th Technology longitudinal movement of the overlying material.
8th Basic rules for stockpiling and waste heaps, distribution hoppers.
9th Technology filling and belt loaders.
10th Technology quarry mining in difficult conditions.
11th Engineering works at the quarries in mass production.
12th Gross and noble stone-cutting production.
13th Technology mining loose materials by dry and wet way.
