Summary
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject acquaints students with the basics of multimedia systems, image processing, audio and video processing on the computer. Students will learn about themes including 3D work, creating them, handling depth sensor for scanning. They will also learn about the basics of expanded reality and its practical use. The subject matter will be focused on virtual reality systems with the possibility of their use for presentation and dissemination of information across technical disciplines.

1. Technical means for the presentation of information
2. Fundamentals of Multimedia Systems, History, Multimedia Processing Facilities
3. Image processing, image formats, image processing software, image digitization
4. Audio processing, audio formats, SW for sound processing, audio digitization
5. Video processing, video formats, video editing software, video digitization
6. Creating multimedia presentations
7. Interactive graphics and its creation
8. Presentation of data in project management systems and community servers
9. Scan a 3D object using a depth sensor
10. Environment for creating 3D worlds
11. 3D space, body models, surfaces, basic body operations
12. Presentation of data using extended reality and using virtual reality
13. Systems for collecting and presenting data from production and logistics systems
