Summary
The course introduces students with basic concepts and definitions in the design of economic systems, the analysis and design of these systems, the implementation and operation of economic systems, and the testing and integration of these systems to other IC/IT systems.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student demonstrates knowledge of:
- basic concepts and definitions of the design of economic systems
- the analysis and design of economic systems
- the implementation and operation of economic systems
- the testing and integration of economic systems

Student can:
- analyse the economic system
- design an economic system

The student is able to:
- design an economic system according to specific requirements based on the needs of the company

1. Issues and basic concepts of designing economic systems
2. Stages of the life cycle of the economic information system
3. Analysis and design of corporate economic information systems
4. Global level of economic system design
5. Detailed level of economic systems design and implementation.
6. Testing of economic information systems.
7. Implementing economic information systems into operation.
8. Management of documentation for economic information systems
9. Operation, maintenance and further development of economic information systems
10.Integration of economic information systems into existing IS/IT
11.Economic system design- case study I
12.Economic system design- case study II
13.Design of economic systems in Excel- case study III
