Summary
The subject acquaints with the issue of raw material industry, its importance and position within the national economy. Mineral resources constitute the basic and irreplaceable inputs for the country's economy, their effective use promotes prosperity. The raw materials business is characterized by a number of specifics and limitations.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Student demonstrates knowledge and understanding:
- the basic concepts, structures and environment of the industry, with an emphasis on the raw material industry,
- entities and business environment relations in various areas of the raw materials industry.
Student can:
- to conduct a survey of the business environment in the area of ​​raw materials.
Student is able to:
- analyze, characterize and orientate in the business environment of raw materials, their processing and markets.

9. Specifics of business in the mining and processing of mineral resources.
10. Specifics of business in the field of mineral resources production.
11. Specifics of business in the field of modern technological raw materials.
12. Specifics of business in the field of precious metals, stones and other commodities.
13. Specifics of business in the field of renewable resources.
