Summary
The course deals with the design of water management infrastructure. The course is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the design of sewage, including buildings, legislative and technical documents, drawing documentation and hydrotechnical calculations. The second part of the course is devoted to the design of water supply, including legislative and technical documents, hydrotechnical calculations and drawing documentation. Computer technology and current software are used in the processing of drawing documentation and hydrotechnical calculations.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- characterize, debate, discuss the issue of design of water management infrastructure providing wastewater drainage and water transport to the consumer;
- will be able to develop their own design of the concept of sewage, including hydrotechnical calculations and drawings of project documentation;
- will be able to develop their own design of the water supply concept, including hydrotechnical calculations and drawings of project documentation;
- will be able to defend their own design of project documentation for sewage and water supply.
