Summary
This subject is introducing basics as well as advanced methods and principles of geovisualization - its history, development and current trends. It is focused on methods of 2D and 3D spatio-temporal geovisualization and their use in GIs with emphasis on Visual Analytics. Another part of the subject is focused on standards and formats for storing of spatio-temporal data.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Upon completion of this course, students should be able to:
- Choose suitable methods of geovisualization
- Apply selected method for geovisualization
