Summary
Project management as the way of management`s complex problem solving with the
minimum resources consumption, in the optimal time layout and the compliance of
corresponding quality standards. Basic tools and techniques of the project
management. The project life cycle structure, organisational forms of the
project. Project management success principles.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
• definition of the project and purpose of PM
• basic principles of PM
• basic tools and techniques of PM
• elaboration of own project and results analysis
Course Contents
Examples of projects:
• Developing a new produkt or service
• Effecting a change in structure, staffing or style of an organisation
• Developing or acquiring a new or modified information system
• Constructing a building or facility
• Implementing a new business procedure or process
• etc. (f.e. - your holiday, painting of new flat, conference, wedding, study of foreign language, university, playing piano)
