Summary
The subject is focused on obtaining a comprehensive overview of the analysis and assessment of the risks of the territory. Attention is given to extraordinary events that threaten the territory. Part of the subject is, an analysis of selected methods used in Europe and the Czech Republic, and the practical application of these methods in selected territories threatened by extraordinary events.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The subject is focused on obtaining a comprehensive overview of the analysis and assessment of the risks of the territory. Attention is given to extraordinary events that threaten the territory. Part of the subject is, an analysis of selected methods used in Europe and the Czech Republic, and the practical application of these methods in selected territories threatened by extraordinary events.

- Introduction to risk analysis of territory,
- Classification of extraordinary events, their identification and diagnosis,
- Territory characteristics and its resilience and vulnerability,
- Methods used in the Czech Republic for risk assessment in the territory,
- Methods used abroad for risk assessment in the territory,
- Risk assessment and acceptability, individual and social risk,
- Risk mapping,
- Prevention aimed at reducing the risks posed in the territory,
- Case studies to demonstrate specific methods and procedures for risk assesments.
