Summary
The interpretation is oriented on economic management of a company focusing on the specifics of metallurgical, mechanical engineering and chemical production. It also includes the fundamentals of corporate management and the application of management principles in various areas of the enterprise.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
The student will be able to define:
- basic relations of economic management of an industrial enterprise in relation to the specifics of metallurgical, mechanical engineering and chemical production,
- basic principles of management.

2. Legal forms of businesses in the CR
3. Financial statements - balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statements.
4. Structure of company assets
5. Capital structure of company
6. Company costs
7. Company revenues
8. Company profit
10. Investment activity of company
11. Basic methods of financial analysis
12. Accounting as part of the information system of organization
13. Tax system in the CR – basic terms
14. The principles of company management – introduction into the basic terms, techniques, skills and theories.
