Summary
Subject Applied Geophysics Geophysics follows the course of undergraduate studies. Expanding basic knowledge of selected geophysical methods, including geoelectric (method of resistance profiling, vertical electrical sounding, resistivity tomography and GPR) and seismic (method of direct, reflected and broken waves method seism acoustic). Along with gravimetric methods, radionuclide, magnetic and thermal methods and selected well log methods then students are acquainted with the appropriate complex of geophysical methods used in solving specific tasks in engineering geology, hydrogeology, bearing exploration and ecology. Students can handle data processing and interpretation measurements.
Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
Manage the summary of the subject by annotation. Learn to applicate the complex of geophysical metods in geological practise.
