This two-hour workshop introduces students to new, essential skills for research with human subjects at universities and research centers in the EU, UK, North America, and Asia.
Most international research centers require that researchers have study protocols approved by an “institutional review board” or “research ethics committee” before the study begins.
The workshop trains students in the skills to understand and applying for review.
These skills are necessary for research careers and collaboration with colleagues at universities abroad, for publication in journals, and to receive research funding.
Who is the course addressed to?
The workshop is appropriate for junior and senior researchers/ PhD students planning a research career in the social, biomedical, materials, or data sciences, including economics, engineering, and psychology. The workshop will include lectures and participant discussion. The workshop will be in (American) English.
