Annotation: With the newly approved research output type Digital Data Collection (T), it has become mandatory to include its URL in the National Metadata Directory (NMD) when reporting this result to the RIV. The aim of the course is to introduce participants to the NMD and familiarise them with the procedure for generating a URL for Digital Data Collection (T) outputs. The course will also include a practical demonstration of manually entering a record into the NMD.

Prerequisites: Basic familiarity with research outputs and their reporting to the RIV is recommended. No technical knowledge or prior experience with the National Metadata Directory (NMD) is required. The session is primarily intended for RIV coordinators and other users involved in reporting results to the RIV, but participants from the wider scientific community are also welcome.
