Anotace

The course aims to introduce students to the fundamental principles of urban engineering. It focuses on the historical development of human settlements and its impact on the contemporary form of cities. Particular attention is given to the analysis of urban functions and current challenges in urban development. By completing the course, students will gain a comprehensive overview of the field of urban engineering,
understand its interdisciplinary connections, and learn to recognize the key relationships shaping the development of urban structures.
