The ‘Sustainability in the Urban European Context’ course introduces students to the fundamental principles of sustainable development in the European urban environment. It focuses on the values and approaches that promote sustainability, planetary boundaries, the environmental, economic and social dimensions of sustainability, and European policies supporting the green and digital transitions. The course also includes examples of good practice from the partner countries of the U!REKA alliance and an introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), not only in the context of European.
