The Basics of the LaTeX TypeSetting System in the Overleaf Environment

This course is designed for Ph.D. students and beginning researchers who need to write professional scientific documents using LaTeX and Overleaf. Participants will learn the basics of text formatting, inserting figures and tables, writing mathematical expressions, managing citations and bibliographies, and working with multilingual documents. The course also introduces creating presentations with Beamer and writing simple macros. Emphasis is placed on practical skills applicable to writing papers, theses, and conference presentations.

Requirements for course completion:
Active particpation in class sessions. Four homework assignments with topics corresponding to each lesson.
