V rámci předmětu jsou studenti nuceni využívat a kombinovat znalosti získané v předešlém studiu odborných předmětů GIS. Jsou vedeni ke komplexním úvahám nad problematikou návrhu, plánování a implementace GIS/GIT v organizacích včetně technologických, organizačních a právních aspektů.
