Study programme Systems Engineering and Informatics

Information for applicants

The newly accredited doctoral study program Systems Engineering and Informatics is devoted to the education of highly qualified experts who are able to connect acquired knowledge and skills from the field of systems disciplines in solving a wide range of economic and technical problems with the support of information and knowledge systems. The study is also focused on the development and application of new methods and techniques for positive innovations in the development and functioning of these systems in the knowledge society. The study program has an interdisciplinary character and combines the fields of education of economics (60%) and computer science (40%).
Graduates of the program can act as system analysts, system developers, senior IT staff in institutions, project managers, academics or scientific research workers. The study program is offered in Czech and English.
