Study programme Electrical Power Engineering

The aim of the three-year bachelor’s degree course in Electrical Power Engineering is to educate the bachelors as graduate operational experts for all the spheres of electrical power engineering, with fundamental knowledge of the relevant theory and with practical skills, and at the same time to prepare them for the master’s study course. The course is focused especially on preparation for practising those professions in which the recent knowledge and techniques in the given field are used, including the spheres of the production of electrical energy from traditional and renewable sources, the transmission and distribution of electrical energy, and the use of electrical energy, e.g. in lighting devices or heating technology.
