Study programme Metallurgical engineering

Information for applicants

The study program is aimed at the education of specialists in modern metallurgical and mechanical engineering. Common theoretical subjects are suitably complemented by subjects such as material science, management and quality management. The program is divided into three specializations with their subject areas: Modern Technologies of Metals Production, Foundry Technology, and Forming of Progressive Metal Materials. The study program is characterized by the close interconnection of the educational process with the often unique experimental base and the use of computer technology in process modeling. Graduates' professional skills will be highly desired in the labor market as they are crucial to ensure the competitiveness of many industrial as well as scientific and research entities.
