Study programme Mineral Economics

Information for applicants

Satisfying human needs is inextricably linked to the mineral wealth of our planet. Ensuring raw materials meet the necessary quantitative and qualitative parameters requires considerable effort. In the process of obtaining and processing mineral raw materials, specialists who possess a complex of knowledge and skills enabling them to solve professional and managerial problems in all their breadth and complexity will gain ground. Mineral Economics is a multidisciplinary field of science integrating deposit geology, mining, processing, economics and management.
The study program Mineral Economics enables the increase of university qualifications and the achievement of a better salary. It is a suitable follow-up to most bachelor study fields in economics. Students of combined studies do not have to demonstrate at least three years of experience before starting.
Our graduates often appreciate the theoretical and special field knowledge, presentation, conceptual and management skills acquired here. On the labor market, they find application in management and technical-economic positions of companies, in the financial and public sector, at universities and in research organizations.
