The subject includes successive internships in individual organizational parts of the HZS focusing on fire prevention, crisis management and population protection, which are closely linked to the issues discussed, with the aim of showing students the direct performance of state fire supervision, performance in the field of crisis management and emergency planning, namely everything towards legal entities and entrepreneurial natural persons, or natural persons. Students prepare a written report from the internship.

1 Day control activity, practical content:
- Assessment of safety documentation processed and submitted in the framework of the prevention of serious accidents caused by selected dangerous chemical substances and chemical preparations,
- approval of the fire risk assessment of activities with a high fire risk and documentation of fire fighting for activities that do not have normal conditions for intervention,
- possible participation in an inspection during which the actual state is examined and its comparison with the desired state, which is defined by determining the relevant obligations imposed by law or on the basis of the law,
- planning, preparation, progress and completion of the state fire control inspection,
- details of the inspection protocol and identification of violations of regulations in the fire protection department, familiarization with the basics of the procedure for sanctioning detected violations in the fire protection department, including possible remedies.
1 Day Construction prevention, practical content:
- Acquaintance with the assessment of construction or spatial planning documentation (regulatory plan, if it replaces a zoning decision related to the location of the building; documents for zoning approval or documentation for the issuance of a zoning decision related to the location of the building; project documentation of the building or documentation for announcing the building , in those cases where, according to the Building Act, project documentation is not required for building notification; documentation or other support for a change in the purpose of use of the building; documentation for a change in the completed building),
- verifying whether the fire safety conditions of buildings resulting from the assessed documents, including the conditions resulting from the issued opinions, have been complied with,
- details of coordinated opinions,
- review management of opinions issued by the regional fire brigade.
1 Day Investigating the causes of fires, practical content:
- Fire rate statistics and the investigation of the causes of fires,
- methods and procedures in the field of ZPP,
- offenses in the area of fire protection.
1 Day Crisis management and population protection, practical content:
- Content of the regional crisis plan and the municipal crisis plan with extended scope,
- organization of cooperation between the regional fire and rescue service with the region and municipalities, legal entities and entrepreneurial natural persons implementing measures from the crisis plan in the area of crisis management,
- the outputs of the risk assessment in the conditions of the region and municipality with extended scope,
- procedures for threat analysis of objects included in crisis plans,
- control activities defined by the crisis law,
- the contents of the regional emergency plan and the external emergency plan,
- organization of processing plans for specific activities,
- planning and organization of screening and tactical exercises,
- the scope of assessing the security documentation of facility operators,
- control activities defined by the law on the prevention of serious accidents.
