Subject syllabus

1. INTRODUCTION
The importance of analysis and justification for implementation. Analysis of the causes of leakage, fire and explosion in the handling of hazardous chemical substances and preparations - highlighting the nature of the process and working conditions. Possible disturbances, deviations from the technology and human error.
2.PROCESS ANALYSIS AND RISK ASSESSMENT OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES
Explanation of basic terms (risk, the risk of serious accidents, safety), the analysis procedure for the analysis and its applications.
3. PHYSICOCHEMICAL PROPERTIES AND TECHNICAL SAFETY FEATURES Highlighting the knowledge of physical and chemical properties of TSF and chemical products (primarily liquids and gases), the influence of various factors TSF and their direct applicability in practice.
4. METHODS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF SOURCES OF RISK
Unsystematic methods - such as security audit, what happens when ..., method of inspection records. Relative ratings - index methods. Selective method of choice for QRA.
5. METHODS FOR IDENTIFICATION OF SOURCES OF RISK
Systematic methods - such as FTA, HAZOP, FMEA, approx.
6. LIKELIHOOD OF ACCIDENTS
Explanation of the concept of probability and frequency. The methods used - such as FTA, FMECA, Markov analysis, Application of Markov analysis, reliability block diagram.
7. GRAVITY OF THE IMPACT OF ACCIDENTS
Estimation of severity of the impact on human, environmental and economic losses - the computational method of file combustible (flammable or explosive) under different process conditions and for various disorders and variations, the calculation of contamination zones.
8.COMPUTER PROGRAMS TO ESTIMATE THE IMPACT OF ACCIDENTS
Principle Programme ROZEX (Single release, the continuous release of defined - for toxic and flammable chemicals, the phenomenon of BLEVE, surface fire, "take the fire," etc., the program TEREX , Aloha program, the program Whazan, Effect program.
9. QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS AND RISK ASSESSMENT OF CHEMICAL PROCESSES.
To QRA, description and discussion of each step, possible use of the methods, possibilities of risk assessment.
10. IAEA - TEC DOC 727
Společenskéko method of estimating risk - principles and applications, solutions accident model (both in production and during transport).
11. HAZARD ASSESSMENT AND RISK OF SELECTED RELATED TECHNOLOGY
Physical processes
12. HAZARD ASSESSMENT AND RISK OF SELECTED RELATED TECHNOLOGY
Chemical Processes
13. COMPREHENSIVE RISK ASSESSMENT AND RISK RELATED SELECTED TECHNOLOGY
Production of vinyl chloride and PVC.
