Subject syllabus

1st The terms used in risk management and their interpretation. ISO Guide 73:2009 .

2nd Risk and risk their importance and development approaches to them. Goals and objectives of risk management.

3rd A systematic approach to risk management - the individual steps of risk management , their relationships and ties . ISO 31000 as the general standard of risk management.

4th Identification of risk: hazard types , their symptoms and ways to find them .

5th The transfer of matter, energy and information as the basis of the mechanism of action of danger.

6th Types of hazards - physical , chemical , biological hazards arising from relations systems in man - machine and transfer of information.

5th Search scenarios and risk analysis. Rules and tools for creating scenarios.

6th Expressing risks and their quantification. Expressing the seriousness of risks and uncertainties . Deterministic and probabilistic approach, qualitative , semi-quantitative and quantitative methods of risk analysis. ISO 31 010

7th Risk assessment as a managerial decision-making process . Acceptability of risk .

8th The transition between analysis and risk assessment , methods of assessing risk management objectives . Compliance with legislation and voluntary instruments . safety culture
enterprise.

9th Security policy in the business. Treatment of risk as a realization of the objectives of management. Organizational and technical barriers to risk their efficiency. The human factor.

10th Feedback on monitoring the effectiveness of barriers, trade-offs between risks . Residual risks and their treatment.

11th Insurance, emergency and contingency plans , the principle of " bussines continuity management" . Risk Management as a framework for occupational health and safety , ergonomics and work hygiene , prevention of major accidents , fire protection and environmental protection.
