Subject syllabus

Safety principles for the storage, production and transport of flammable liquids. Safety principles for the storage, production and transport of liquefied gases. Risk assessment and prevention of basic physical processes - eg heating, drying, rectification. Specific causes of reactor failures based on their classification, chemical safety assessment of technological processes in terms of safety and reliability. Analysis of specific exothermic and endothermic chemical processes (polymerization, dehydrogenation). Methods for identifying the hazards (sources of risk) of technological processes. Study safety, meaning and method of processing.
