Subject syllabus

1. Introduction. Basic concepts and their interpretation. Safety terminology. Safety legislation.

2. Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medicine. Terrorism and protection of the population. EMS and emergency assistance.

3. Social behavior and social functioning, perception and assessment of the situation, verbal and nonverbal communication, attitudes, social groups and their meaning, communication and relationship patterns in social groups, the basic patterns of human behavior in social groups.

4. Communication in a stressful situation. Crisis communication. Specifics, purpose and significance of crisis communication. Communication as conflict prevention and resolution

5. Behavior man in critical life situations
Psychology in the rescue. Topical exercise, floods and other disasters and
mass disasters. Aggression, anxiety, fear, nature, causes.
Individual behavior, personality typology, group behavior, human behavior in the crowd.

6. Mental stress and stress
Manifestations and effects of load and stress. Methods of evaluation of mental workload. Moral potential. Perception of short- and long-term symptoms and stress. Perception of environmental stress. Post-traumatic stress disorder, causes, symptoms, course. Psychotherapy posttraumatic stress disorder. Psychosocial programs.

7. The specific situation of threat
Kidnapping and hostage situations, more threatening and risky situations (assistance to victims violence, intentional and unintentional damage to property, dealing with victims damaged, terrorism, ..).

8. Security aspects of work psychology
Perception of working conditions and loads. Perception of short and long term
Expressions of load and stress.

9. Evaluation of neuropsychiatric burden when práci.Význam technical and organizational environment for rescuers. Basic principles of mental rescuers. Meaning profesiografie.

10. Aggression
Examples of aggression and behavior. Procedures focused on aggression-aggression including signals their recognition and possibilities to prevent this behavior. Practical examples of comparative expression of aggression and and their possible solutions.

11. Crisis and sequence of crisis assistance. The procedures, methods and techniques of crisis situations. Crisis intervention.

12. Humanitarian assistance, humanitarian intervention and humanitarian law. Implementation of MHP. Effects and interpretation of the rules MHP.

13. Anti-conflict teams, humanitarian units and other specialized services. Their importance and social benefits. Demands and requirements of their professional level.
