Course aims

After completing the course students should be able to classify natural resources, to identify their basic characteristics and indicators used in this area, to understand the aspects associated with the scarcity of natural resources in relation to sustainable development; to be familiar with the strategies and approaches to managing these resources at the international level, within the EU and its Member States; to identify challenges and potential opportunities for more efficient use of natural resources in relation to sustainable development.
