Subject syllabus

1. The concept of logistics and logistic management, their functions and aims. Systematic approaches in logistics, processes, logistic chain and logistic nets. Logistic interfaces. The relationship between technical side of logistic and logistic management.
2. Definition and classification of products, processes and flows. Types of production, the function the bill of material.
3. Determination of batch.
4. Continuous time – concept, structure of continuous time, tools for planning of continuous time.
5. The level of logistic service and logistic costs. Trade off in logistic.
6. Pre-production preparing and her influence on the logistic.
7. Capacity, specialization, lay out of workplace.
8. Inventory management: sorts of inventory, ratios of inventories, movement of inventories, determine the order modes, ABC-Analysis.
9. The introduction to the planning and production management, aspects and background at planning of products, link the Term planning and Capacity planning, scheduling tasks, production management.
10. The introduction to the distribution management: fundamental tasks in distribution logistics, consolidation, separation and assembly, the tasks of logistic providers, the comparison the sorts of transports, reverse logistics, city logistics, and delivery terms.
11. Classification and characteristic technical means in logistics.
12. Ecologic, social and legal aspects in logistics.
