Subject syllabus

– Aims, functions and efficiency of social health system.
– Means of financing in income, expenditure and process – sources of
financing, technology, methods and plans of financing, ways of structuring
insurance and benefits.
– Health care, factors of supply and demand of health care, models of health
care management and financing, methods of refunding expenses to health care
providers.
– Construction of public health insurance programs; purpose and organization
of private health insurance in the Czech Republic; financial management of
health insurance companies in the Czech Republic.
– Economics of health care institutions, organizations; marketing basics,
planning.
– Managing changes in health care; economic evaluation of health care
service benefits.
– Approaches to structure of social security programs in EU-OECD countries
and in the Czech Republic – social situations , conceptions, instruments of
financing, ways, criteria and instruments of programs dynamization,
constructions of benefits, adjustment mechanisms; unemployment benefits,
old age benefits, sickness and disability benefits, survivor s benefits,
family benefits, benefits in the poverty.
– Economics of social services – sources and instruments of financing and
principles of financial management of corporate entity.
