Subject syllabus

1. The theoretical basis of the public sector and its position within the national economy. Definition and segmentation of the public sector within the national economy according to CZ-COFOG (Classification of the Functions of Government) and CZ-NACE (Classification of institutional sectors and sub sectors).
2. Structure and characteristics of public goods (products and services). Classification, provision (guarantees) and production of public services. The terms and conditions of public and private sector collaboration.
3. Characteristics of economic and legal forms of organizations providing public goods at state, regional and municipal level.
4. Public goods financing models and specifics of public goods financing. Resources and instruments for financing of public goods at the level of state, regional and municipal level.
5. Defense (public policy, management, economy and organization, produced goods, public-private relationship).
6. Public Order & Security (public policy, management, economy and organization, produced goods, public-private relationship).
7. Justice and Prison Services (public policy, management, economy and organization, produced goods, public-private relationship).
