Subject syllabus

Fundamentals and main objectives of the ec. competition policy. Theory,
practical policy of market protection. Concentration and
monopolisation of economy. Causes and forms of limiting the ec. competition.
Diagnosis of the functionality of the ec. competition. Statics and dynamics of competition. Instruments of the ec. competition policy. Outlawing cartels,
supervision over abusing a dominating market position, control of fusions.
Historical and actual shape of the anti-monopolistic policies, their
legislative modifications. Ec. competition in the EU and in the Czech Republic.
