Subject syllabus

Formal structures and artificial intelligence languages: problems, problems solving, knowlege representation, symbolic functional, declarative and object oriented languages. Expert systems and their application to economics: fundamental methods of knowlege representation, expert and knowledge systems architecture, life cycle of expert systems. Neural networks and their possibilities of application, basic terminology connected with neural networks, types of neural networks and ways of their learning, areas of application for neural networks (forecasts, expert systems, picture processing, neural networks simulation). Other intelligent technologies and their applications: fuzzy logic, fuzzy sets, genetic algorithms and genetic programming. Knowledge management and its implementaton into companies.
