General scope of the course:
Mining conditions, exploration works, construction site in undermined area. Design of structures in undermined areas. Requirements for frameworks, masonry, industrial, tower and bridge structures. Requirements for surface communications, railroads and sidings, drains and sewage systems, penstocks, water structures, pylon and underground lines, underground objects. Foundations in undermined areas – single footings, strip, grid and slab foundations, deep foundations. Rectification and reconstruction of the object in undermined area. Sliding joints and rheological sliding joints. Action on structures due to mining effects (denivelation, curvature of the terrain, relative deformation of the terrain). Procedure of internal forces calculations and arrangements for their elimination. Structural arrangements and design requirements concerning the objects effected by mining effects.
Individual project:
The topic and the form of an individual project will be chosen by the teacher considering the scope of the thesis.
