Osnova předmětu

1. Introduction to the study of the subject. Methods of improving the properties of foundation soils. Compaction, consolidation and dewatering of soils.
2. Mixing and replacement of soils, treatment with plastic binders, soil reinforcement.
3. Grouting, jet grouting, freezing and other methods.
4. 1. Deep foundations (foundation wells, caissons, diaphragm walls).
5. Interaction of piles and foundation soil. Technology of performing replacement piles.
6. Bearing capacity of single vertically loaded replacement piles.
7. Settlement of piles, calculation of bearing capacity of vertical single piles according to the 2nd group of limit states.
8. Calculation of bearing capacity of vertical single piles, bearing capacity of bored horizontally loaded piles.
9. Pile groups, pile foundations.
10. Slopes of construction pit slopes, dewatering of construction pits.
11. Micropiles - types, implementation. Design and assessment of micropiles.
12. Design of deep foundations according to EC7.
13. Special methods of foundation. Invited lecture by a practicing expert.
