1. Development of transport and transport networks in cities. Types of transport, comparison. Level of transport quality, UKD levels, performance of URBAN ROADS.
2. Local and urban roads and applicable regulations, functional groups of local roads, transverse arrangement of the local road space, types of local roads, switches and turning areas.
3. Curbs and dividing elements on local roads, corner design, vehicle tow curves. Exits on local roads, views at exits.
4. Specifics of local road routing, views, passage and through space.
5. Structures for stationary traffic, placement, equipment, connection to local roads.
6. Intersections - terms and definitions, types and types of intersections, views at the intersection.
7. Elements of level intersections, verification of passage using tow curves.
8. Elements of roundabouts and interchanges.
9. Design elements of pedestrian and cyclist roads, routing principles. Pedestrian crossings, crossing points, ensuring visibility.
10. Principles of intersection design - location in the route, management, accident prevention, collision diagrams.
11. Drainage of local roads and intersections, lighting and placement of utility networks in the street space.
12. Elements for traffic calming on local roads.
13. Transport as a city-forming element - functions of urban roads, communication network, influence of transport on city development.
