Subject syllabus

1. Recapitulation of up to now knowledge of mechanics. The types of the body motions, translation and rotation.
2. The general plane motion, kinematics. Rolling without sliding.
3. The general plane motion, analytical solution, the basic decomposition (translation and rotation).
4. The general plane motion, dynamics. The theory of simultaneous motions, coriolis acceleration, resal angular acceleration.
5. The spiral motion, kinematics and dynamics.
6. The spherical motion, kinematics.
7. The spherical motion, dynamics.
8. Mechanisms - introduction.
9. Mechanisms with constant drive ratio - recapitulation.
10. Mechanisms with varying drive ratio, kinematics and dynamics.
11. The natural and forced vibration with one degree of freedom.
12. Rotational vibration.
13. Vibration of mechanisms.
14. Vibration with more (than one) degrees of freedom.
