Subject syllabus

1. Analysis of material behaviour of biomaterials for soft tissues, their remodellation and degradation.
2. Analysis of loads, boundary and initial conditions for soft tissues.
3. to 5. Experimental measurements in biomechanics.
6. to 7. Mechanical tests of parts for prosthesis and implants.
8. to 10. Numerical modelling in biomechanics and creation of proposal.
11. to 12 Design and proposition of devices for surgery, prosthetics and orthetics.
13. to 14. Clinical use of biomechanical methods in practice.
