The program of lectures

Week Lectures
1 The definition of a control term. Hydraulic mechanisms control: controlled
variables, methods of control - classification.
Control by variable resistor, one-edge depending on the pressure gradient on
engine. Sources of constant pressure.
2 Control by variable resistor, one-edge depending on the pressure gradient on
engine. Throttling valves with two-way pressure weight. Throttling valves
independent on viscosity. Throttling valves with a three-way pressure weight.
3 Volume control.
4 Control by variable resistor, two-edge. Introduction to proportional technology. Proportional electromagnets.
5 Direct-controlled proportional valve. Indirectly controlled proportional
distributors.
6 Proportional pressure valves. Controlling electronics for proportional technology.
7 Design of circuit with a proportional valve with respect to system dynamics.
8 Proportional valve with two-way pressure weight and a three-way pressure weight .
9 Servotechnology. Regulatory circuit. Servomechanism- definition, types, typical signs, the general block diagram.
10 Servovalves.
11 Speed servomechanism. Positional servomechanism. Scanning of measured values in the regulatory circuit.
12 Dynamic behavior of regulatory circuit elements. Influence of servovalves dynamics on regulatory circuit.
13 Principles of installation, commissioning and maintenance of hydraulic
proportional elements and electro-hydraulic servovalves. Filtration of hydraulic systems with servovalves and proportional valves.
14 Examples of devices with proportional elements and servovalves.

2 Control by variable resistance: the circuits with throttle valves.

4 Design of hydrostatic transducer with control of pump and hydraulic motor geometric volume.
5 Program 1: Design of a circuit with a proportional valve.
6 Design of a circuit with a proportional valve - completion.
7 Program 2: Measuring of the hydrostatic drive dynamics with proportional valve.
8 Measuring of the hydrostatic drive dynamics with proportional valve - completion.
9 Program 3: Proposal of a rotary servodrive.
10 Measurement of rotary servodrive - completion.
11 Dynamic behavior of regulatory circuit elements.
12 Mathematical and physical models of the regulatory circuit elements.
13 Test 1.
14 Credits.

Exam questions:

1 Control by variable resistor, one-edge: principles of management, static Mn and Fv
drive characteristics. Throttling valves depending on the pressure gradient.
2 Location of throttle valve at the inlet and outlet of hydraulic motor. Energy
balance of drive controlled by variable resistor.
3 Throttling valves with two-way pressure weight.
4 Throttling valves with a three-way pressure weight.
5 Volume control of drive.
6 Implementation of a constant pressure source. Four-edge control valve.
7 Proportional valve directly controlled.
8 Proportional valve indirectly controlled.
9 Proportional pressure valves.
10 Proportional valve with two-way and three-way pressure weight.
11 Design of a proportional valve with respect to the dynamics of the system.

20 Hydraulic filtration equipment with servo valves and proportional
valves.
