Course aims

Extension of knowledge of construction, properties, control and characteristics of drives. Deepening knowledge of characteristics, properties and control of internal combustion engines, electric motors, hydraulic motors, pneumatic motors, mechanical transmissions, hydrostatic transmissions, hydrodynamic transmissions (couplings and convertors) and combined transmissions. Comparison and evaluation of different types of engines and gearing mechanisms according to given criteria.
