Lectures
1 Introduction - classification system maintenance, history, definitions and concepts, economic importance.
2 General theory of tribology - Tribological system and processes.
3 Friction - classification, Stribeckova curve, friction conditions, the theory of friction.
4 Friction - sliding friction and rolling friction.
5 Wear - mechanisms and types's wear.
6 Lubricants - classification and properties of environmentally degradable lubricants, additives to lubricants.
7 Tribometrie.
8 Lubrication Systems and Equipment.
9 Tribotechnical interpretation - screw, spring, shaft.
10 Tribotechnical interpretation - plain and rolling bearings, seals.
11 Tribotechnical interpretation - gearing.
12 Tribotechnical interpretation - chains, steel cables, brakes, clutch.
13 Tribotechnical interpretation - mining and mineral processing.
14 Tribotechnical interpretation - transport (rail, auto, band)

Practice and seminars
